Funding for training

More money or more satisfaction wordcloud

There was funding for training  available across the Liverpool city region that was designed to up-skill the workforce across certain areas in the years 2015 to 2018, and there is the possibility of funding being available again from 2020 related to the devolution of the adult education budget.

The organisation you work for may be able to take advantage of this and gain up to 80% of the cost to give you or your employees, or both, qualifications*.

As stated on their website this fund is

"Investing in the skills and training needed to help businesses grow within the Liverpool City Region"

Authentic have - after a rigorous application process - been welcomed as a training provider that can deliver training to organisations wishing to take advantage of this funding.

Here we specialise in giving organisations the skills to train its own workforce and thereby reducing its training costs.

It may be worthwhile to enquire with your Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and /or your local council to see if funding is available.

If a group within an organisation were interested and that organisation contributed to the apprenticeship levy then it is likely that training could be funded through this route.
